These are unofficial guidelines and are copied from the previous guidelines (https://www.fuelrats.com/host-me/), but cleaned up to remove redundancy and to include the Terms of Service and Code of Conduct. Please use these guidelines when it makes sense and comment on them so that we can improve them. Please take into consideration the volume of rescues while streaming and implementing any of these guidelines.

The Fuel Rats are willing to host any stream that is fuel rat related or any event in which The Fuel Rats have a role. We have an image within the Elite: Dangerous community of being non combatants and this suits us, as we do not wish to engage in PVP of any kind. Due to our desire to stay as non combat focused as possible we have drawn up a set of guidelines that all hosted channels should adhere to. Please keep in mind that while we are hosting any Rats Twitch channel you may be seen as representing The Fuel Rats as a whole and you should take this into account. Please follow the guidelines laid out below.

  1. You shall follow the Fuel Rats Terms of Service (http://t.fuelr.at/tos) and Code of Conduct (http://t.fuelr.at/coc)
  2. At no point should the main purpose of your stream be combat focused. (it’s OK to brush aside an NPC but the Fuel Rats only fight if interfered with or attacked).  In other words, only open fire in self defense, and only against NPCs
  3. Conspiring to attack other player groups when being hosted by The Fuel Rats is not allowed
  4. Griefing other players when being hosted by The Fuel Rats is not allowed
  5. When streaming or recording our IRC channels please insert a REC tag into you name. e.g Nickname[PC|REC]
  6. Any rescues you attend must be held in a secure private group. This is to avoid griefing of us and our clients
  7. Adhere to all the Twitch rules and guidelines
  8. Don’t be an asshat
